One visitor of Patmos and his experience for the Easter on the island

The relevant video of the guest.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PW_gI6VWQ8k

1. Patmos, Greece Po pulation: Just under 3,000 St John is said to have written the Book of Revelation on this tiny, idyllic island dotted with scores of Greek Orthodox churches and dominated by a monastery at Chora. There is a cluster of white houses clinging to its side and "the sound of church--and goat--bells is everywhere, always," says Schultz. Patmos is about 180 miles east of Athens and you have to fly to either of the neighboring islands of Samos or Kos and take the hydrofoil and, if you time it right, it is only a three-hour trip from Athens. "Patmos has evolved over the centuries but has not lost its air of quiet tranquility," says Reg Parry of relocation firm County Homesearch. "Which is one reason why people that know it return again and again." Read on for more on life in Europe , including the countries with the best minimum wages and the continent's most scenic drives. Patmos, Jerusalem and Vatikan are the only places where this staging takes place in all over the world. So, Holy Thursday you should be on Patmos and especially at the main square of Chora. With the view of the island you also have the chance to feel the the holy spirit of these days.

GREECE, Chora, Patmos Conservation WINDMILLS OF THE MONASTERY OF ST JOHN THE THEOLOGIAN 2012 "Who could resist a sense of exhilaration at the sight of these windmills, in a row, on top of the island, fully restored and spinning against the sky? The jury was asked to consider several different mills from across Europe for this year’s awards and comparisons were therefore inevitable. Among the windmills, the jury agreed that this group in Patmos was outstanding in the detail and completeness of its restoration, and the imaginative uses to which each was to be put for future production or education. As a group, the three form an integral part of the island landscape’s aesthetic as well as contributing to its economy as an important and original example of proto-industrial heritage." Patmos is one of Europe's most important historical and religious pilgrimage sites. The Monastery's three windmills sit atop a hill in the UNESCO world heritage town of Chora. Two were buil
